Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Caro has lived a life deeply intertwined with music. Growing up in a musical family, she was surrounded by melodies from an early age. She picked up a guitar at just three years old, and by seven she was already playing regularly at church. These early experiences laid the foundation for her lifelong devotion to music—and especially to the guitar.
As a teenager, Caro fell in love with blues guitar and honed her craft with private tutors. In her early twenties, she moved from Buenos Aires to Chicago, where she fulfilled her dream of becoming a blues lead guitar player.
After many years away from home, Caro rediscovered a profound connection to her Argentine roots and the ways music shapes community and identity. Through this journey, she felt an even deeper closeness to the traditions she grew up with—especially Argentine tango and folklore music.
Now in Minnesota, she is an active member of the Twin Cities Tango Collective, a vocalist with the Northwoods Tango Ensemble, and a guitarist and singer for various projects.
Caro’s music reflects the diverse influences that have shaped her, weaving her experiences, heritage, and passions into every note she sings and plays.
